Alex’s Team Foundation was created in part to honor and thank the nurses who cared for Alexandra Miliotis during her time at Boston Children’s Hospital as a pediatric cancer patient. As this global pandemic lingers on, we want to continue to bring attention to all the heroic nurses who are still enduring the fight against Covid-19.

Starting on Monday, April 12th, we want everyone to participate in appreciating their own hero nurse. Whether it be your neighbor, best friend, partner, coworker, or the nurse that helped you through a vulnerable moment, we want to hear about your amazing hero nurses, and spread some heartfelt stories while thanking our hard working nurses everywhere! We will celebrate them through May 12th, the last day of National Nurses Week.
